Rapinis

Halfway between a broccoli and a leafy vegetable, rapini has a long stem and individual florets. It tastes like almonds, sometimes a little bitter. To counter bitterness, add a source of sugar, fat or acid when cooking. Serve it in stir-fries, in pasta or as a side dish.
